Designing a SolarScapes Structure? - Use the new Revit files!
SolarScape Revit Files now available on Autodesk Seek
January 28, 2014 - Just published today are the new Lumos SolarScapes Autodesk Revit files. These files are an excellent way to quickly incorporate SolarScapes into visually stunning 3D designs, thus making it easier for customers to envision their dream solar systems.
Autodesk Revit is a building information model software for architects, structural and design engineers, and contractors. The software is intended to allow users to design and document a building by creating parametric 3D models that include both the geometry and non-geometric design and construction information, also known as Building Information Modeling (BIM). Two unique aspects of Revit is that parametric components are created using a graphical "family editor" and all relationships between components, views, and annotations were captured by the model so that a change to any element would automatically propagate to keep the model consistent.
The SolarScapes Revit file set is the 3rd Lumos Solar Revit file set. In mid-2013, Lumos released the Revit files for the LSX250 Series Modules and XFlash. We continue to evaluate tools to make it easier for you to integrate the new look of solar into your projects.
