Mission Accomplished: Greenbuild 2013!

Lumos SolarScapes was adored at Greenbuild 2013 in the City of Brotherly Love

November 26, 2013 - The Lumos team just got back from Philadelphia, PA where Greenbuild, the largest U.S. green building trade show, was held all last week. 800 exhibitors showed off their products and services to over 30,000 attendees including business owners, design professionals, military, government and home owners.
Products to look at included paints, roofing materials, indoor and outdoor wall materials, asphalt, windows, water using appliances (i.e. faucets and toilets), our beloved solar products, and so much more. All products highlighted the fact that they are from non-virgin sources (or use a minimal amount of virgin materials), or promote long term green living, like solar.
The Lumos SolarScapes made a strong impression at the show with numerous comments about the aesthetics of the panels and overall solar canopy design. Visitors bounced ideas around to utilize SolarScapes for carports, back/patio coverings, solar walkways. Others who just loved the low profile, stunning appearance of the LSX panels discussed ideas on integrating the panels onto a roof, solar walls and creating solar awnings.
The beautiful blue Tesla Roadster, lent to us by SolarDock owner Scott Johnson, certainly helped attract the eye and bring even more visitors to the booth.  Once we unglued their eyes from the Tesla, their reaction to the sleek and stylish Lumos LSX panels was equally attentive as it was for the Tesla.
Thank you for all those who stopped by to visit us.  It was a great show for Lumos and we'll look forward to it in New Orleans next year!
